Final HAP Rules for Pulp Mills

The EPA published the final rule on emission standards for hazardous air pollutants for chemical recovery combustion sources at kraft, soda, sulfite, and stand-alone semichemical pulp mills. This rule regulates HAP metal emissions and/or gaseous organic emissions for chemical recovery combustion sources in the pulp and paper production source category. The standards are summarized in Figure 2.
