Alstom will supply a FGD system for 305 MW Unit 1 of East Kentucky Power Cooperative’s H.L. Spurlock Power Station. This order follows the award earlier this year to Alstom for emission control equipment on Spurlock 2. The order is valued at approximately €80 million. The FGD is scheduled to begin operation in 2009.

In cooperation with AMEC and Zachry Construction, Alstom will supply an air quality control system to South Carolina Electric & Gas 430-MW Cope 1. The total order value is over €50 million. The SCR is scheduled to begin operation in January 2009.
