Is there enough biomass to make this a consideration for large coal-fired power plants or even large industrial plants? What are the fuel handling problems? Why not follow the European lead and burn the sewage sludge?  No longer do you have to worry about the mercury in the sludge because you are installing mercury removal systems anyway. Why not gasify municipal solid waste and use it as a reburn fuel?
