The NO_x catalyst for coal-fired boilers plays a key role in the emissions of mercury and SO₃. What are the efficiencies and costs?

Alternatively there are lots of decisions for gas turbines. There is the CO and the NO_x catalyst.  Where and how will they be placed?  With simple cycle plants should you use a high temperature catalyst or tempering air?
