Albemarle has pioneered the development of a control technology that focuses on the use of the existing particulate control equipment in cement kilns rather than the addition of a polishing or secondary baghouse. This is made possible by the development of a cement friendly sorbent for mercury capture. This sorbent is both efficient and cost effective.
