FGD Training Webinar On Friday, June 5

Our kickoff presentation will be by Don Shattuck, Air Quality Control System Program Manager for Zachary Engineering Corporation, who has seen the industry develop over the decades.  He will provide the lessons learned and insights which will be helpful in going forward.  He will also be talking about the drivers for FGD systems.

Also, we will have a discussion on the basics of limestone and ammonia systems from Marsulex.

A tutorial on using the Decision Tree System will demonstrate the advantages of a highly organized system to provide FGD answers as you need them.  Rather than prioritize the assimilation of facts that may never be useful, the approach champions learning ways to locate those facts quickly when they are needed.  In general, the participant will learn how to deal with the 4 knowledge needs which are Alerts, Answers, Analysis and Advancement.
