Electrodeionization: an InterWebView™ with Michael Snow, President of Snowpure

Snowpure is a supplier of electrodeionization modules which are used in 42 countries to purify water used by pharmaceutical and secomiconductor manufacturers as well as by operators of boilers who need ultrapure water for steam production. Presently, the largest single market for the modules is China. Electrodeionization has many advantages over ion exchange including the elimination of acids needed for periodic cleaning. The modules manufactured by Snowpure have unique features and are produced with rigid quality control. As a result, the life of the modules is longer than with some other designs. Snowpure sells exclusively to system suppliers and supports them with extensive training courses and other assistance.
