Electronic treatment removes silica scale in power and semiconductor applications

Silicate has a special form, which is called covalent bond, but most scales have an ionic bond so ion exchangers or Reverse Osmosis Systems are available for removing them. But ion exchanger or RO System can’t remove silicate scale. In addition, silicate scale can’t be dissolved by acid cleaning. Also the magnet treatment developed in the West is subject to restriction in the size of pipe, flow velocity and so on. Furthermore, it is developed to remove scales caused by hard water. Its effect on soft water like in Japan has not been proved.
