Present work, business and personal history: Mike Ross is currently president of Kiewit Power Engineers Co.
After graduating from Notre Dame Law School in 1987, Mr. Ross joined the Fulbright & Jaworski law firm in Houston, Texas. Before assuming his current position, Mr. Ross served in a variety of roles within TIC-The Industrial Company, including laborer, pipefitter, equipment operator, Vice President and General Counsel.
In 1991, he accepted a position at TIC in the legal department. Mr. Ross was promoted to Vice President and General Counsel at TIC in 1994, where he oversaw legal affairs including acquisitions, litigation, bonding, employment matters, joint venture agreements and engineering service agreements, sub-contracts and the negotiation of EPC contracts.
From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Ross served as Program Director over a $1.6 billion contract to engineer and build five 700 MW power plants. Following his participation in that project, he was promoted to Vice President of Strategic Growth, where he led TIC’s Aeroderivative Program, served as account manager for GE Energy and evaluated new and prospective markets and technologies for the Company.
Mr. Ross was promoted to President of Kiewit Power Engineers Co. in 2009.
