Chattanooga Boiler has added C276 liner to combat the corrosion problem with 2205 scrubbers. They are not sure about future choices but suspect the industry will choose carbon steel with tile linings.
Tank manufacturers say that stainless plate thickness varies from 3/16 to more than 1/2 inch depending on size and service, as well as location e.g. bottom, lower walls, upper walls.
Power is a big market, but also Pulp and Paper and Oil and Gas.
